Description: This console is tested to read Japanese games from black (PS1), blue, and silver CD and DVD discs. Both controller ports, memory card slots, and USB ports are fully functional. The clock battery is dead, so it does not keep time when powered off. I consider replacing it more trouble than it's worth on this model, so I don't do it myself. This console has deep scratches on the bottom that will be unsightly in some vertical configurations. This listing also includes a black DualShock 2 controller (fully working with scratches), Sony OEM AV cable, and generic power cable for use in North America or Japan. As a free bonus, I will also throw in one of the PS1/PS2 games I can't sell otherwise. This isn't likely to be anything exciting, but can be used to test the functionality of the system or kickstart a collection. This could include games with damaged cases, loose discs, or simply games no one wants. Please note this Japanese (NTSC-J region) console will not play North American (NTSC-U region) games from disc.
