Description: Jane Austin's Pride and Prejudice from Goldfinch Titles series published in London by Nicholas Vane, 1948, 2nd impression. Attractive copy: Good condition. Corner wear at all corners of DJ. Boards under DJ clean and bright. Tight binding and spine. Front leaf bound to cover cracked at top and bottom along spine as pictured, with some wrinkling of FFE. Small dog-ear at bottom of first 7 or 8 pages. Blue top text block edge has white mark near spine as pictured. 1/2 inch of bottom edge of front DJ flap seems to be trimmed off neatly. Some yellowing b/w FFE and 1st title page, maybe from an old bookmark? "839" in circle stamped on bottom left of title page. (or is it S39?). Otherwise text block clean and unmarked, light off-white with no foxing noticed. Pages are printed on fairly thin delicate paper. The volume is probably unread. Ask for more photos if needed.
