Description: A January 20, 1863 (Civil War era), Boston, Massachusetts Marriage cards, Wedding envelopes and cake boxes, billhead. I wonder how the wedding business in 1863 was when hundreds of thousands of young men were fighting on the Civil War battlefields including Gettysburg in July, 1863. The billhead is 8 3/8 x 6 7/8 inches in size. The billhead has normal folds and two small 1/8 inch edge tears atr a fold and otherwise is in nice condition.
