Description: This signed James Clarke dated (1985) hand blown glass vase was purchased from the artist and has been in my collection since 1985. I never used it—just lovingly displayed in a glass cabinet. It is in perfect condition—no chips or cracks. It measures 7” tall with a diameter of 5” It has a 1 3/4” diameter opening at the top. James Clarke received his Bachelor’s (BFA) and Masters (MFA) degrees from the University of Wisconsin/Madison. Prior to becoming a professional artist and founding his studio, Clarke taught art in the Cheyenne, WY and Madison, WI public school systems. He produced blown glass perfume bottles, vessels and sculptures until the late 1990s. Please view all the photos as they are considered part of this description.
