Might also not work for other made after this was produced in 2005. You would remove the battery cover and batteries, and screw this into it's place and plug in the supplied power cord. It does have a break-away cable in an effort to keep the TV from toppling onto a kid accidently running into the cord. NEW IN PACKAGE, but the package is in rough condition, including separating from the cardboard along the top edge. Will be shipped in a sturdy box
