Description: J7 Rare Antique 18K / 14K GOLD Mesh Expandable Ring Finger Purse / Bag ~ c.1920's This bag is from my personal collection, not an estate which we normally sell for. I have had this bag evaluated and authenticated twice over the years since I've owned it. The majority of the bag is 18K Gold. There are a few places that have 14K gold and was told this was because they used the 14K because the metal was more dense and harder so that the bag would have more stability and harder to break or come apart. The hinge, grommets and button on the bottom I think were the places that are 14K and the rest is 18K. I have owned this bag (Anniversary Gift my husband bought me for an investment) for over 20 years and I have protected it with my life and have kept it in my safe for most of the years. I've decided that this bag needs to go to someone that would like to proudly display it because it just seems a shame to keep it in the safe where no one even knows it exists but I panic leaving it out in the open.
