Please see description; actual product may differ. Description Payment Shipping Returns Description Here is a Ives Prewar O Scarce HOD Seagrave Special Copper Pass Set w/400,1122,141,141,142. This set includes: [1] No. 1122R die-cast steam locomotive, [2] No. 141 parlor cars and [1] No. 142 observation car. The locomotive features die-cast construction, cooper plated die-cast wheels and a motor. The Ives Railway Lines tender features cast bronze body with copper plating, nickel trim, nickel trucks and brass journals. The passenger cars feature copper construction, nickel roofs, nickel window inserts, diaphragms and trucks, brass plates, brass journals and copper plated die-cast wheels. Each of the passenger cars has a brass Pullman plate above the windows. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. Looking to add rarity to your collection? Due to age, there are a few cosmetic imperfections throughout these models, but that doesn't stop this set from standing out among the rest! Do not miss your opportunity to snag this rare set from Ives before it is gone! One valve gear is loose near the front of the engine. The locomotive shows pitting in the die-cast construction. Two larger chunks of the die cast boiler have chipped off the front area. The copper finish is rubbing off throughout the locomotive. The exposed metal of the locomotive shows spots of corrosion and tarnish. A few of the flanges on the wheels are damaged and cracked. The wheels show wear and spots of tarnish. The copper plating on the tender appears to be bubbling or pitting in a few spots. The roof shows paint loss and spots of corrosion. The coupler and drawbar show surface rust, and residue. The coal load on the tender might be touched up with paint by the previous owner. The copper bodies of the passenger cars show scratches and spots of oxidation. Some of the window inserts have discolored or are coming loose. A few of the nickel diaphragms are dented a bit. The roof of one 141 has shifted slightly. The roof of one 141 has heavy oxidation, residue and discoloration. The wheels and pickups of each passenger car show wear and tarnish from previous use. Some of the wheels are forming oxidation. These items have not been tested and are being sold As-Is. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
