By following these simple tips, however, you can maintain your jewelry’s beauty for as long as possible: > DO NOT GET YOUR BRACELET WET ~ Keep your jewelry away from moisture. It is best to remove your bracelet before washing your hands, showering, exercising and swimming since contact with moisture can break down the elastic, ruin finishes and tarnish metals and charms. > AVOID CONTACT WITH CHEMICALS ~ Perfume, soap, moisturizer, lotion, hand sanitizer or other chemicals can weaken the elastic, harm natural crystals and result in the discoloration and peeling of beads and gemstones. > AVOID HEAT EXPOSURE ~ Leaving your bracelet in sunlight or exposed to heat for an extended period of time may lead to elastic erosion and can cause beads and metal to discolor. Remove your bracelet while exercising.> ROLL IT ON AND OFF ~ Do not over-stretch your bracelet! It has been made with pre-stretched elastic. Over-stretching it beyond its capacity will cause it to break. To keep from overly stretching it to put it on and off, slide your fingers into the bracelet first, then gently roll the beads over your knuckles and then onto your wrist.
