This is the (1971) Hardcover with Dustjacket FIRST EDITION (but not a FIRST PRINTING) copy published by Doubleday. This is a biographical novel of Sigmund Freud. The book itself has clean white pages throughout and I would have considered it a decent copy but unfortunately it has a cracked hinge at the front and the back of the book (see photos) so I would not call it better than a GOOD. The dustjacket also is a GOOD copy with chips and tears at the extremities plus a piece of tape on the backside near the top of the spine.
