Description: Here's a real pretty reddish puce colored 1850s whiskey bottle with applied handle...no embossing...Hand blown in mold....rough iron pontil with heavy dark iron deposit in sunken bottom.....applied blob ring collar.....crude applied glass handle....round ovoid shape.....beautiful puce color with some red tint....Excellent shiny nice condition with only a chip on the extra drip of glass below the applied handle; no other damage. A nice clean bottle with only some faint inside haze. Crude whittled glass with some bubbles and a large piece of smoothed glass stuck near base when it was made. This bottle is the exact same shape and size of an R.B.CUTTER'S BOURBON except this bottle has no embossing...but the pretty puce color makes up for the lack of embossing!....FREE POSTAGE.
