Don't confuse this with the cheaper $100-$150 bowies currently on sale on eBay. This extrordinary classic bowie knife was inspired by the classic bowie made by the famous knife maker John Nelson Cooper. A similar knife appeared in the 1950s movie “The Iron Mistress” starring Alan Ladd., This exquisite knife has been expertly handmade by highly skilled knife maker (possibly Tehseen) but not with a signed blade. The blade is mirror polished with a perfect geometric grind. The drop point blade was made from .375” thick D-2 steel stock hardened to 60 RC (Rockwell Hardness). The pommel, bolster, guard, two (2) spacers, and the round medallion, are polished brass. The five (5) inch handle is made of dark brown micarta and is perfect for large hands. The Knife’s weight is 1708 grams (25 oz). Includes glass display case and leather sheath. Condition is new – never used or carried. Because of weight, shipping is by US.P.S.
