Description: IOOF ODD FELLOWS ANTIQUE BANNER HEART in HAND, SNAKE on CROSS, AXE, ARK of the Click images to enlarge Description IOOF ODD FELLOWS ANTIQUE BANNER HEART in HAND, SNAKE on CROSS, AXE, ARK of the COVENANT WORLD TASSELS Here offered is a really well made example of a Ceremonial Banner from the International Order of Odd fellows. This is made of a Silk or Satin Fabric with heavy Embroidery Symbols of the Rites of the Odd Fellows. The Embroidery Symbols are well done, colorful, and in excellent condition. This Banner features a Heart in Hand on the top; a Snake wrapped around a Cross, The World, and a Axe across the center; and Israel's Ark of the Covenant crowned with Winged Cherubim across the bottom. This Banner has an Embroidery edge on all sides and still retains the woven wire Tassels on the bottom as shown. One Tassel needs the wire rewound on the cap. There is a fold across the fabric near the bottom which I feel could be ironed or steamed out........ it is not a tear or and damage to the fabric. The Brass rod at the top has an eye hook for hanging. This Banner has minor soiling....... nothing bad. This Banner is 19" wide and 28" long. The Brass rod is 23" wide.
