Description: Interesting & Unusual Bracket Clock CaseVery well made, and interesting and unusual shape Bracket clock case. This has had some restoration/repair over the years. I've not had one like this before, it has arched glass so would need a 11.5in high and 8.25in wide and has its lock but no key. The case is 22in tall inc handle which is made of brass 12.5in wide x 7.5in deep.The case is ebonised with gilt flowers patterns etc. It has side frets and glass arched windows. It also has wooden bracket feet. As I mentioned it has historic repairs and worm holes. Not sure what wood? but has its glass which looks ok. Probably had a double fusee bracket clock movement in it originally ?. There is also some carved decoration. Not sure of the age, but very unusual style.Please view the photos carefully as is part of the overall description.
