Light shelfwear. Spine labels with some scruffs and cracks. Some chipping/fraying to cloth at the spine ends. Lower corners rubbed through and bumped. Contemporary ownership signature (Sarah Pickering Pratt) to second blank in each volume. Some stains to blanks at start of first volume. Most of the plates with tissue guards. Offsetting, occasionally heavy, from the plates, with a few of the tissue guards heavily toned as well. Generally the interior is clean, with maybe the occasional stray bit of foxing.
