The print shows Ollantay seated in a specially constructed portable observation platform, surveying the construction with his architects - possibly fellow rebels from the imperial staff in Cuzco. This 1966 vintage print pictures the INCA Indians in the Andes mountains of Peru dating to the period of 1470 A.D. It is NOT framed, you'll have to get a poster frame. The print doesn't say where this construction takes place, but I found 4 pages of very good info online as seen in the photos. This does not come with the print. Overall it measures 20" x 16" and is in excellent condition, on original heavy poster paper and ready to put in a poster frame. The print will come rolled in a mailing tube. This is a rare 57 year old print, the art work and colors are very sharp and you can feel what it was like to be an Incan centuries ago.The Incan Empire was the largest empire in Pre-Columbian America and was noted for their stone architecture and the amazing city of Machu Picchu.
