Maker's marks J D & S. 12 1/2 inches (320mm) tall. Sterling Silver mounted on wooden bases. Antique condition, with light wear & some flaws. 1 has very light wear on the base, the other has more significant wear on the base & repaired hole (Scrutinize the photos!). No other damage or repairs. The lamps have new, plated metal bulb holders & are unwired. (They will need to be checked & wired up by a qualified electrician before use.) They bear Sheffield Sterling Silver Hallmarks for 1910 & 1911 and the maker's marks J D & S. The lamps each measure approx 12 1/2 inches (320mm) tall and are made from Sterling Silver mounted upon wooden bases. They are in antique condition, with light wear in keeping with their great age, and some flaws. One is pretty good, with very light wear on the highlights of the base, the other has more significant wear on the base and a repaired hole on the base, (Scrutinize the photos!). There is no other damage or repairs, the columns and the sconces are good. The lamps have new, plated metal bulb holders and are unwired. (as with any vintage electrical equipment, they will need to be checked and wired up by a qualified electrician befored they can be connected to a mains electrical supply.) This is an, impressive pair of table lamps and they would make beautiful display pieces and be a great addition to any collection.
