Description: This is a nice Ideale TB Rebour lightweight leather biycycle saddle with very hard to find flat aluminum rails. This comes with hard to find original Ideale seat post clamp. The nose of the saddle is embossed Ideale TB on the chrome piece. The seat clamp is embossed Ideale made in France. The aluminum rails are embossed Alliage Leger Traite Fortal with the number 9. Each copper rivet is embossed Ideale along with the copper colored Ideale nameplate on rear. It is in great condition with no pulls in the leather and the rails are strait and true without serious nicks, there is a partial decal on the inside of the back of the aluminum frame. Saddle measures 10.5 inches long with the distinct Rebour signature engraved in the leather along with the words "rodie main selon" There you have it the entire story of this famed saddle commonly used on lightweight road, touring and randonneur bicycles.
