Description: For sale is a Japanese handmade hand painted gofun, composite and silk Ichimatsu girl in good-very good displayable condition.The silk kimono is embroidered. The composite parts are covered with gofun. The glass eyes are inlaid. Refer to photographs.The Ichimatsu girl doll including 1.5cm (9/16") high lacquered wood stand is about 51cm (20") high and 25cm (9 13/16") long.If the doll is shaken, some composite powder may fall out. Please don't shake the doll. There is a hole in the stand (photo #15).The handmade gofun doll has slight paint wear and perhaps a small or minor mark(s), nick(s), loose string(s), dust, etc.Please refer to the photographs to determine the overall condition, the quality of the craftsmanship, artwork and material.The triangular paper kimono tag on the doll shows "Keisuke" which is the name of the kimono craftsman.There is string in or on the kimono and its purpose is to keep the kimono taut and in its original position. It can be removed.There is a red ink stamp on the doll's body paper shows "伊藤直島" or Ningyou-shi (doll craftsman) and Ito.Unfortunately, the string in or on the kimono is too taut so we cannot see the red stamp. This girl doll was in a glass with a boy doll. The craftsmen are the same. We can see the red stamp on the boy doll.
