Description: [Ibanez] S540 Green Made in Japan 1989 ST Type Solid Body Electric Guitar Japan Description We have an Ibanez S540 that appears to have been made in 1989. It was made by Fujigen at the time, and features a thin body shape. The body is mahogany. It looks a little faded with age, but it's a beautiful green color. The head is also green with the Ibanez logo. This logo was later modified and changed to pink. The tuners are original and made by Gotoh. The fingerboard is rosewood. The frets are original and thick with original position marks. The pickups are USA F1 in the front, USA C2 in the middle, and USA F2 in the rear. The bridge is original and equipped with a locking EDGE&TOPLOK Ⅲ, which is easy to use and keeps the tuning from going out of tune. There are some small dents, but overall it is in good condition. This guitar has a pleasant distorted sound from the mahogany body and humbuckers. Because the body is thin, the midrange tone is not too strong, and the clean tone is very easy to use.
