I have a very large collection of books spanning many topics. A massive gathering of Philip K Dick titles and editions, as well as fine press, signed limited editions, modern firsts, radical movement and conceptual art items. I encourage you to browse my store and categories for a wide range of unique, quality offerings. !!! THE IMAGE BLUR IS DONE BY ME IN PHOTOSHOP TO OBSCURE POEM. IT HAS NOT WIDELY SEEN. !!! Condition: SEE IMAGES Handmade, letterpress booklet. A fine copy in like envelope (ORIGINAL envelope). Preserved in an acid-free-archival bag with backing board. SEE IMAGES About: A superb production, put out by the X-Ray Book Co. Originally, this was a very limited edition included in the X-Ray Zine issue 8. This is a PC (publisher extra). Although this extra is NOT part of the original limitation, the entire run was still quite small, so there aren't many of these floating around in any edition. This is a rather scarce, short piece by the King of Gonzo, Hunter S Thompson. This chapbook which opens to 4 paragraphs of Hunters superb writing, read from top to bottom. He writes of a harsh lesson he learned about God while attempting to catch Santa Clause as he came down his chimney, dated December 25, 2000. Attractive, tan card-covers, measuring 4 1/4in high x 5 1/2in wide. Opens to a full 8 1/2in tall. The front cover shows an illustration of his home in Woody Creek. Internally, it opens to reveal the iconic two-thumbed Hand gripping the Peyote button in striking red. The drawing measures 6 1/2in x just under 3 3/4in. The writing is on semi-transparent thick stock paper, which appears similar to wax paper. The page is held by notched tabs at the lower border of the booklet, and you are able to see the illustration behind when held open. Booklet is housed in a thin, transparent wax paper envelope. Johnny Brewton of the legendary X-Ray Book Company, is known for his gathering and offering of rare and limited pieces of conceptual art and poetry, as well as his collaborations and partnerships with other radical conceptual artists in many forms for Expression. Through his press X-Ray Book Company, he has also provided an outlet for spreading their gifted offerings. Graphic designer, letterpress master and conceptual artist, he is also architect and founding member of the collage gang The Kut-UuPs. Kut-UuP is an international art movement laid out to promote the dis-figuration and beautification of the mundane through collage technique. I will happily answer any further questions. Making offers: I certainly can appreciate wanting a better deal, and I've made offers myself on my own purchases. To be up front, if and when you make an offer, I will automatically reject crazy low "give it away" offers. Best not to waste our time. With a more reasonable offer, I will review current pricing for other comparable items out there and either accept, counter or decline submitted offer. If in that review, I find my pricing is already LOW and outdated, I may then increase the price to bring more in line with other offerings. I spend a lot of time sourcing the best offerings, preparing the listings with images and clear descriptions, and price fairly in MOST cases. I remain grateful to all who consider my offerings, and I look forward to serving your needs respectfully and with success.
