This map opens to a generous, wall-size 30" x 44" and has great detail on old road alignments in the Buckeye State. There are inset plans of Cincinnati, Dayton, Canton, Cleveland, Toledo, Youngstown, and Columbus. On the reverse side there is a map showing Indian trails, trading posts, settlements, forts, and routes followed by British and American troops during the Revolutionary War. Surrounding the map are portraits of more than four dozen historical figures from various events on the Revolutionary frontier. This map was published by the Ohio Department of Transportation in 1976 and is dated in the legend. The illustration on the cover is by Columbus artist William Edward Turner. Condition: This official highway map is in very good,lightly used condition, bright and clean, with some minor wrinkles, a faint spot on the back cover, and no rips, tears, or writing.
