Description: Up for consideration is a wonderful little catalog from the Montgomery Ward Co. entitled: How to build a good house for little money. This softcover book has 43 pages and measures 5 in. by 6 in. It was published in 1903. It has plans for 3 homes and gives details on each aspect of the construction, including cost of materials and labor. It also has 3 fold out pages that detail furniture packages with pricing. It also talks about building a cheap cellar, bathroom, a cistern in the attic, and tips for the amateur builder. A complete process from beginning to end in this book! The condition is very good for the age, the binding staples are rusty but present. A few pages have some staining but not enough to hinder reading. The 3 fold out pages have some tears, and only 1 of the 3 are still attached within the book, but still very readable. Take a look at the photos and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
