Description: Lot of 7 vintage 8x10 stills from the 1944 Universal horror classic House of Frankenstein. In excellent shape with no creases, tears, pinholes or tape. These are mostly restrikes, maybe a couple are copy stills and are all are from the 1960s-1970s. Not from the original release but they are vintage darkroom-produced stills 50-60 years old. These came from the estate of noted collector and early fanzine publisher John Parnum. Sturdy secure shipping is $7.99. Original: a studio-made still from the time of original release of the film, created for theater display or press release use. Some originals have the movie title and some credits, others have just copyright and permission for press use, still others have no text. Rerelease: an original studio-made still created for a later release of the film. Restrike: A copy made using an original negative. Restrikes were made both by studios, sometimes for rerelease or tv promo use, and also have been made by collectors and dealers who acquired original negatives.Copy Photo: a photo made by photographing an original photo to make a new negative which is then printed. Copy photos often have less sharp focus than originals and restrikes, and you can sometimes see the border of the original photo on the far edges.
