The hostas I am selling are of a nice size, larger than you'd find in most shopping centers. The green perennial hosta that I have for sale will look like the ones in the photo when they are full-grown. This sale is for one individual beautiful green hosta plant which comes from an adult plant. Because they from older plants, you will see them develop into large plants quickly! Nice for borders and landscaping. These plants grow to a height of about 24 inches in height and display lovely lavender blooms in the summer or fall. I am selling these now from my hosta garden so that you will get healthy plants ready to grow well in shade or hot sunny areas. These plants are so healthy, I feel 100% sure that they will produce those big beautiful leaves and blooms for you within their first year. In addition, I will help you out by combining shipping costs. Read on.... This is a nice-sized plant that is at least 3 years old--not a baby, like you find in most nurseries. It will look like the above plant in about three years. If the leaves are too tall for the shipping box, some of them may have to be cut down or off. I will not do this unless it is the only way to ship. This plant will live a long time and will thrive in well-drained soils. Drought-resistant, it stands up well to heat and humidity. I love it because butterflies and hummingbirds are attracted to it's long flowers. Because I want to ship you a very healthy plant, I water the plant's roots for one day prior to shipping. Then I place the roots in a moisture wrap and cover them with plastic to help them conserve the moisture surrounding them. They propagate via the budding method, so you will find that they produce more plants on the main plant within the first year and every year thereafter.
