Frontspiece of Walpole opposite title page. Cracked hinge opposite page listing 8 illustrations which appear on pages 60, 132, 148, 168, 188, 213, 274. No noted rips, tears, markings, missing pages otherwise noted. Shelf wear, rubbed corners. Gilt along front cover and spine area very bright with no color loss, including color on blue-cloth cover. Published by Seeley, Jackson and Halliday, London, 1884. Book is about Select Passages from Walpole's letters. Book needs some TLC for restoration. Inside pages are very clean.
