If having the system monitored must either connect to a regular phone line or get a compatible cellular radio card which is not included. No app feature or monitoring of any kind will work without an actual service monitored via cell card or landline (app will not work thru landline only cell thru total connect service). Panel was pulled with an LTE radio in it (not included) so firmware is up to date.
