Description: These are new Heavy Duty motorcycle chrome shorty shock absorbers. This set of shocks is specifically made for the Honda VT1100C3 Shadow Aero models from 1998 to 2002 only. The free length is 12" which is about .75 (3/4") inches shorter than the original stock shocks. The springs have 5 tension adjustment positions. The spring adjuster tool is also provided. The original shocks have rubber bushings which tend to crack and split over time. This set of shocks has all metal bushings which will not wear out. All required bushings are preinstalled for ease of installation. The green wire tie that you see in the left lower shock eyelet is there to secure the bushing,which is a different size than the others, to keep it from being lost. These shocks come ready to install as they are with no modifications required. PRICE INCLUDES BOTH SHOCKS. THESE SHOCKS WILL ONLY FIT THE HONDA 1998 TO 2002 VT1100C3 SHADOW AERO MODELS.
