Designed by Jacob Bang for Holmegaard, a prominent Danish glass factory, using a style of glass blowing known as “case” or “sandwich” glass for the “Palet” series This requires enormous skill on the part of the glass blower, as it is layered glass, First a layer of white glass is blown and then over this, a molten layer of olive green glass covers the entire spice jar. The white glass underneath the green glass creates an interesting emission of light with rich reflections. Some of the spice jars have text on the label, and some do not..These jars are in perfect condition because they were stored away and not used. The corks are all original and they fit the bottles well and can be removed.The spice jars can be sold singly or together.
