Description: I enjoy restoring old model train cars, and so ended up with these for that purpose. However, these cars are either not good matches for the projects I'm working on, and/or would be too much of a headache to disassemble and repaint (though, keep in mind that I don't have a ton of experience, so somebody smarter than me might make quick work of them). Naturally they've all got flaws - these were intended as restoration projects after all! At the very least, all are gonna have dings and scratches from years of rattling around inside boxes as they passed from person to person. Let the pictures be the judge - I'm not any sort of expert and so I might not notice missing parts and such, although I'll do my best. 1. Santa Fe corrugated car. Might be by Athearn. Looks to be missing a coupler and the brake wheel. The clear plastic window panel has fallen out on one side, but is present inside the car. 2. Corrugated observation car. Unknown brand - looks and feels a bit toy-like. Missing some window plastic (easily fixed with a thin piece of clear plastic). 3. Lima Amtrak corrugated car. Looks to be in good structural shape, with lots of dirt and paint scratches. 4. Milwaukee corrugated observation car. Might be by Penn Line. Shell only, without the floor. Also missing the window plastic and the end doors. 5. Unknown heavyweight car. Not sure of the brand. Shell only, and is missing one end. It appears to have plastic sides and a wooden roof - somebody seems to have tried to remove part of the roof detail and gave up partway through. -------- I am a longtime collector of Cold War military equipment. However, as the need to pay for grad school looms on the horizon, I am now selling off a good portion of my collection. Follow me to see my latest listings, and grab some fascinating history (and other stuff) at great prices! I am a collector more than a salesman, and so I'm quite happy to do whatever I can to ensure that you get what you're looking for. I'm always happy to combine shipping! Unfortunately eBay makes that process difficult sometimes, but if you can't request an invoice, go ahead and buy what you want and I will refund the difference!
