Description: Nürnberg pewter souvenir plate sold at the "Reichsparteitag" ("Nuremberg Rallies") during the Third Reich period as personal souvenirs. Around the outer edge of the plate are the words NÜRNBERG - DIE STADT DER EDLEN KÜNSTE VOLL (Nuremberg - City full of Noble Arts). The center of the plate contains the familiar Nürnberg city crest, the half eagle with the bars. The 6 panels show famous buildings of the ancient town. It measures 8-7/8 inch (225 mm) and is 6lbs Gozs. A loop is soldered on the back to facilitate hanging the plate on a wall. Original condition with honest patina as shown in the photos.
