This book was created separately from his hardback APPARATUS books. This book presents the ideas that he had always promoted about the history of Magic through the Ages. Here are some features you will find—— The COVER is a foldout where Bob desired to have a portrait of him in his library... with his Muse! (see the photo). He even mailed me a list of dozens of the names of his favorite Magic Books (yes, and I lettered them on the spines). The portrait of Robert Houdin on the last page he asked me to hand-color the Black & White etching.On the inside back cover I suggested we do something magical, playful and fun. The idea was to create in Egyptian Hieroglyphics a hidden message to the reader. The art theme is very 'Albo' because The Egyptians were always important to him and I created many drawings in that style. There is a pocket at the bottom of the page that holds a CLASSIC MAGIC Mirror. See the photo. There are instructions on how to use the mirror to make the message appear. 36 years with Robert J.
