Hiroshi NAITO Architectural DEATILS INTRODUCTION: This book is a compilation of design drawings by architect Hiroshi Naito, who has selected 18 works from his own architectural practice since its establishment in 1981 to the present. Included are his early masterpiece “Sea Museum” (1992) and his recent work “Hyuga City Hall” (2019). This book is composed of key drawings, including details of the most important parts of the project. It also includes commentary (in Japanese) and sketches by Naito himself. Comments from usI still remember the strong impression I had when I saw his early work, a storage building for ships at the Museum of the Sea, in a magazine. I feel that the cross-sectional composition of his work controls the space. It is a great pleasure to be able to grasp this in this book. It is a pity that it is all in Japanese, but I recommend this book.
