Description: Hicks & Meigh Hand Painted Pink Rose Floral Gold Coffee Cup & Saucer C.1820-1830 Antique British bone china coffee cup and saucer. Decorated with a band of painted painted pink, white, and yellow roses, and other flowers in purple, orange, white, pink, and blue over a wide gold band. Thin gold band along the edge and along the bottom. Unmarked. Produced by Hicks & Meigh. Circa 1820 to 1830. Has crazing typical of bone china, some wear to the gilding, and two hairline cracks extending off the lip of the cup. Otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 3 1/2 inches wide including the handle x 2 7/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece. BV
