Description: 1973 Maurice Tranchant – possibly 1990An Hermes scarf is made from the silk of 250 mulberry moth cocoons. scarf in silk twill with hand-rolled edgesHERMES Silk Scarf ROMANTIQUE Carre 90 by Maurice Tranchant 90 cms/35" VINTAGE About the Scarf On offer is a beautiful, 100% silk twill, Hermes scarf called Romantique. The Hermes silk is always particularly amazing as it is a silk made from 250 moth cocoons. This scarf was designed by Maurice Tranchant in 1973. The same scarf design was re-released by Hermes in 1990. I am not sure which of these dates applies to the scarf I am offering here. It is possible because of the beautiful condition of the scarf it is the latter date. The scarf is in excellent vintage condition and only has two very light marks on it - see last 2 pictures. Size: 90 x 90 cms / 35 x 35 inches Condition Key NEW WITH TAGS (NWT) = unused. Tag is still attached to the item. May have original packaging NEW = unused, but no tag.
