Description: Matched Set of Six (6) Eames designed for Herman Miller PSC (Pivot Side Chair) on cast aluminum contract base with steel star seat attachment. Iconic well marked Herman Miller shell chairs upholstered in original red Hopsack Alexander Girard fabric. Several of the chairs have a SEP 28 1978 date stamp on them {as shown}. All original everything. All swivel freely. While fabric has some stains, it's overall quite clean and most importantly there seem to be no rips, tears or any mentionable damage to the hopsack fabric. The white fiberglass shells are rather dirty, but they clean up easily. These chairs are low ... 15.5" seat height. Based on that, I assume they are the PSCC base that is meant for castors, which installed, would bring them to the correct 18" seat height. As they are now: 19" Wide x 22" Deep x 29.25" H with a seat height of 15.5" You can see the raised Herman Miller mark and logo in the fiberglass, the patent stickers, date on some, Herman Miller inspected by stickers on some, and 105320 in the aluminum on underside of base which also confirms these are PSC chairs. Shipping is INCLUDED in the purchase price. As everything is original, I don't want to take them apart for shipping so I'll send them to you via LTL Freight in a carton strapped to a pallet. They'll only ship to addresses within the 48 contiguous United States. And we're in PA, so if you live on the West of the Mississippi shipping is a lot so we won't be able to do much, if anything, on price. But ... if you are near PA try submitting an offer.
