This piece defined the standard for mid century modern furniture. The original design was inspired to embody the feeling of a well-worn baseball mitt, combining the then-new technology of bentwood, lightweight and durable aluminum, and high quality textile fabrics. For the 50th anniversary is 2006, a limited run of the lounge chair and ottoman were released featuring a special 50th anniversary tag on the underside. This particular chair features a white oak wooden frame, a beige leather upholstery, and an aluminum base. This beautiful chair swivels for convenience, and features a matching ottoman for maximum comfort. The tags can be found on the underside of the chair as pictured above. The chair measures 31.5 inches tall, 33.5 inches wide, and 35 inches deep. Overall this piece is in good condition.
