Description: Classic Empire / Biedermeier style vase made by Herend in their typically thin high quality resilient porcelain. This is the same vase that was later manufactured with a claw footed base but this is simpler and more authentic to the Biedermeier style that was for the "everyday" man. 5 1/2" tall, 5 1/2" wide at opening. No damage but some wear to the gilding on the inner rim though that can be turned to the front so its not noticeable or hidden behind flowers.
