Description: Double Petticoat Aqua Blue Glass Insulator. Made by Hemingway in the USA. This is the Hemingway -16 blue insulator. The bottom of the insulator is in great condition. There is a chip above the word Hemingway in the first rim and can be seen in the photographs. The wood peg is in rough and in aged condition. Peg screws into the insulator nice and tight. The insulator measures 2 3/4" across at the base and is 4" high. This glass insulator includes the original wood peg. Insulator and peg weigh 19.1 ounces on digital scale as shown in last picture. See pictures, this is the item for sale, sold as is. Wood peg can be unscrewed from the insulator. Peg measures 9" long. Insulator on the peg measures 10" in length as the peg screws completely into the insulator. Mailing weight is 30 ounces. Peg will be unscrewed from the insulator for mailing. Thanks for looking.
