Description: ABOUT THIS CARD: Vintage early 1930s Samum High-Life "Die Schonheit im Wandel der Zeiten" paper-stock trading card, Series 3, Number 238 Helen Hayes. Rarely seen issue from Austria issued between 1931-1936. Larger-sized paper-stock card measures between 2-3/4 and 3-inches wide by about 4-1/4 inches tall with some variance in those measurements of up to a quarter-inch. Paper-stock thickness varies as well as noted below. This card is from a set catalogued on the Movie Card Website as "Samum High Life" under their "Misc N-S" page. From a set containing seven series of a hundred cards each, the page also notes, "the general size of the cards themselves varies greatly, as does the thickness of some cards. Different batches at different times, who knows why." GRADING - CONDITION: Grades VG or 4/10 due to a light diagonal crease by bottom left corner; touches of wear at corner tips. Scans show both sides of actual card.
