Description: Offered is a heavy gauge, large ceramic box with a thick double handle on its top. The piece features elaborate cut-outs between the lid and box with gentle curves and triangular points. The lid fits like a glove, even with the complicated design. The box is glazed in gray with bronze highlights. There are bold insets of bands, triangles and the ends of the box. Most insets are glazed in cobalt. There is also abstract application of cobalt in key areas. Reference images for the best description of this complicated piece. The box is 7 ½” tall to top of handle. Without the handle the box is 7 3/8” wide, 5” deep and 5 7/8” tall. The box without top is 4 ½” tall not counting the sculptural cut-outs.
