Heath Austin Basking Woman Gown Sun Rays Face Heraldry Art Sculpture Statue

Description: A beautifully detailed sculpture Basking in the Sun depicting a barefoot woman with long flowing hair & gown basking under a heraldry sun face by Austin Productions & artist Alice Heath. *The big toe has a small chip & there are a few tiny flea bites that have been previously touched up / repaired, all are barely noticeable, please see all pics.* The sculpture measures 16 1/4" tall 12 1/2" wide and 7" deep and weighs over 9 1/2lbs. The statue is marked "Austin Sculpture 1994" and "Heath" it also has a sticker on the bottom that reads "Psychic Eye Book Store Sherman Oaks Torrance Venice Burbank Tarzana Las Vegas, NV" see all pics. These are quality keepsakes that will last a lifetime and can be handed down from generation to generation. Background info on how Austin Sculptures are made:This sculpture is made of Durastone. Austin Sculpture puts steel armature or supports into the mold and then mixes the Durastone (a special formulation of crushed stone) into a slurry which is then poured into the mold. After the mold hardens it is removed from the mold & placed in a heated chamber for 48hrs to achieve optimum hardness and readies the sculpture for it's finish or patina. Each sculpture has the patina hand applied by skilled artisans before being waxed and buffed.I acquire my items from local auctions, estate sales etc...
