The stone measures 35mm x 35mm x 10mm tall and the ring total weight is 35 grams. All of my jewelry creations are hand made and one of a kind. I cut and polish all of my stones from the rough raw materials, except for faceted stones. I hand fabricate all of my metal work. This particular flaming heart ring stone is cut from a high-grade slab of Mexican Flame agate (see last photo, showing exactly where it was cut from). You can see from the photos it takes a fantastic high polish. It shows off slightly different hues in different lighting conditions as pictured. It is cut in a tall dome cabochon and bezel set. Both the stone and ring are very sturdy and fine for daily wear. There is a small 18K gold bar accent added at the bezel. The ring band is heavy-gauge sterling silver and highly hammer-textured with a slight comfort-edge relief for easy on-off. What appears as a small surface scratch or indent on the inside edge of the band is a minor casting flaw that occurred when the silver was melted and poured into the carved ring mold. It is cosmetic only. True sign of hand made work! It is signed with my logo, ei, for ei Design, and also stamped Sterling and 18K.
