Description: I bought a black one bc my wife didn't want the red one on the counter. I was using this as back up. So here is the deal, I have a well with a top of the line RO, but I sometimes get a some slight discoloration on hard plastics. I put scalding hot water from my auto hot water dispenser after every use. This has a little bit of water stain on it, and that is what it is. I did not want to put a toxic in it like CLR to remove the spots just so it's spotless. Not my decision to make. That said, I do think it would take away those spots. Just know I am a clean freak, and this has been meticulously cleaned every time, but my water source left some spotting. It never bothered me at all, but it may bother some. I am sure most won't care, but I have to address the crazies on eBay, bc trust me, they lurk lol
