He Came Down from Heaven by Charles Williams 1956

Description: In this book, there are too long essays, one called. He came down from heaven, and the second called the forgiveness of sins. These two essays make up Williams’s principal theological writing along with his famous book, the Descent of the Dove. In case you’re not familiar, Charles Williams who died in 1945 at the age of 59, was a man of unusual genius. His writings include poetry, drama, literary criticism, and novels. This is a hardcover volume with a paper, dust jacket, the dust jacket shows a slight, aging discoloration along the spine as well as some damage at the top of the dust jacket. Please see pictures for more evidence of condition. Outside of the inside the front there is no writing inside the book for the first 10 pages. And for some reason, the previous owner decided to outline, what was happening in those 10 pages. Again please see pictures for evidence of condition. I am a retired priest/professor and I am looking for a good home for many of the books that I have collected over the years. Basically, I am taking my library of hardcover books from the past and putting them on eBay for 10 bucks each, someone has said it is a terrible thing to waste a book and I’d like to see these books adopted and given a new life on somebody else’s shelf before they get thrown out.
