Description: This listing is for a beautiful covered round vegetable bowl by Haviland Limoges, France, in the "Autumn" pattern which is Schleiger 495. 1920-30's era. This lovely porcelain piece has thick gold trim around the lid and on the handles and a fall leaf motif around the bowl and lid. The leaf garland is on a ground of light cream/yellow that looks almost like luster.The bowl and the lid are both stamped on the bottom. The stamp on the bowl is "Haviland France" in green, but the red part is mis-stamped. Judging from the other pieces I have of this pattern, it should say "Autumn decorated by Haviland & Co. Limoges" in red. The underside of the lid bears the red part of the stamp only. The bowl is in good vintage condition with light wear consistent with its age. It has some losses to the fine black line on the lid. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
