Description: This is a really beautiful, tight and square copy of King of the Pulp Writers Harry Whittington's Man in the Shadow. The book appears unread. Its covers are bright and clean. Its spine is straight and uncreased. The book has plenty of photos from the movie of the same name (starring Jeff Chandler, Orson Welles, and Colleen Miller) directed by Jack Arnold. Arnold is best known for directed some of the great sci fi films of the 1950s including The Creature from the Black Lagoon. There is a small scratch on the spine in the middle of "Harry" as well as a little soiling around the edges of the book. Also, pages 49 and 52 have a small tear at the top of each. See photos.
