I think the ink is a little spotty but it could just be me it doesn't seem the wright very fast but if you go slow it's perfect. I would assume that it needs a new ink cartridge?? So I'm not sure if it will need a reload or not but as of now it writes but you have to go slowly to get a clean penmanship.
