Description: 24BE13U03 up for sale is a new D4 type hansen synchron clock movement , this is the type that is a face mount , it mounts by using the large nut as shown in the photos and mounts to the face of a clock using this nut , it’s also a front set movement which means you use the hands on the front to set the time so it’s used on a clock that has no face cover , these were used in a lot of bulb lit advertising clocks over the years , this is a new unit , it’s the C4 type so the over all length of the spindle is 0.893 about 7/8 inch from the face to the seconds hand threaded end , this takes a seconds hand that has a 2-56 thread on it the minute hand has a partial circle and two flats these flats are 0.108 apart just under 1/8 the radius ends are 0.177 and hold the 10-24 knurled nut that comes with this movement , the hour shaft is 0.200 for standard hands , the face nut has a thread that is 0.369 and holds the 3/8-24 brass nut that comes with this movement to mount it to the face of your clock , the body is 2 1/4 diameter with two flats that are 2 inches wide total length of the movement from seconds stem to the back of the motor is 2.647 just over 2 5/8 inches, from thr mount fsce to the back of the motor is 1 3/4 inches , nice clock movement for your project , also see our store we have clock hands to fit this movement of many shapes we have made over the years , also see our store here on ebay for many weird and unique surplus items , thank you rwk
