Item description: Prince Ernst Ferdinand zu Windisch-Graetz (1827-1918) was an Austrian officer and numismatist. Autograph letter with signature, dated Naples, January 22, 1868. Dimensions: 21cm x 13cm On a letterhead with the printed monogram and royal hat. Written to a noble gentleman in Palermo, to whom he informs that since his arrival he has been confined to the house due to a cold and has not yet seen Naples and therefore cannot say when he will arrive in Palermo. Enclosed written on cardboard, biographical data of the prince, including that the prince was a well-known numismatist and owned one of the largest coin collections.2. 2. Condition: Very good overall condition. Letter monogrammed and royal hat, with black border. With slight traces of folding. Lower right corner of letter slightly bumped. No damage visible.
