Description: This remarkable handmade 90's folk art Santa Claus features a crazy quilt pattern clothing with a red and green color scheme. The gown is handmade from vintage ties which has a hood embellished with an antique Rhinestone star. Santa’s body, arms and les are made of cloth and I believe his face is paper mache with painted features. His beard is . He holds a green velvet stocking in his right hand in which there is a vintage looking ceramic doll figure. His left hand holds a Teddy Bear, a Christmas tree with embellishments. Boots removable; “James 1:13” written on right leg. Santa measures 22 inches from tip of hood to edge of gown. Beautifully, excellently made item. Signed by 3 artists on abdomen.
